The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research is WA’s largest research institute investigating the diseases that impact adults. Since 1998, the Perkins has grown to accommodate over 450 researchers in two state-of-the-art locations, co-located with Perth’s three major hospitals. With research programs in Cancer, Cardiovascular Science & Diabetes, and Genome Biology and Genetic Diseases, researchers at the Perkins are at the forefront of groundbreaking discoveries. Built on an ethos of collaboration, everyone at the Perkins is focused on our mission to enable our community to live healthier, longer lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat life-altering diseases.
