I began my career in Immunology as a PhD student in David Tarlinton's laboratory. I continued my interests in B cell development and differentiation in Cambridge with Martin Turner, and at Monash University with Fabienne MacKay. From there I began to broaden my immunological interest, specializing in eosinophil development under Doug Hilton at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. My work now focusses on using human genetics to understand differences in haematopoiesis and immune cell development in an effort to uncover novel therapeutic avenues for Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
